Growing up in an atmosphere of a family suppressing emotions, the rich, varied artwork in my home as a child became the way I was able to get in touch with a range of emotions. Visual representation "spoke" to me and reached that Higher part of me. Spiritually, at the age of 12, when a Rousseau painting at the Modern Museum of Art in New York flooded me with courage, I knew that I wanted to be able to reach other people in the same way.

I've been involved in some sort of artwork ever since. I love the rush of allowing my Higher Self/God/the Universe (whatever you want to call it) work through me. Being an artist is surrendering to the Unknown, and sometimes that is scary, but also thrilling.

I am constantly evolving as a person and as an artist. The new work I'm planning is a departure from the styles you see in my galleries now, so please stay tuned to new artwork being added.

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and have 4 grown children and 6 absolutely beautiful grandchildren.
